Q.

Hi Doctor, my kid is 1 month old now, At hospital itself Nan formula milk started for my baby due to low sugar level , after started got controlled, but now also it's continuing, my baby is not getting sufficient milk while feeding, so i would like to know is there any issue for continue formula milk with breast feeding. Daily 4 - 5 times formula milk also giving with breast milk

A. when baby is taking formula where is the question of not getting sufficient feed the baby at frequent intervals see baby is gaining at least 20 grams weight for day

A. Breast milk and formula don't have to be mutually exclusive. Babies can thrive on breast milk, formula, or a combination of both. Keep them separate, mix them together, nurse, pump, and find what works for you and your baby.
