Q.

Hi Doctor, My GTT test is 169 after 2hours of 75gm glucose intake. Is it too high? I had no symptoms of it. I didn't have pre-existing diabetes either. Please help if it's too high to be worried about? I hope it doesn't affect the baby 😭

A. If untreated, gestational diabetes can cause problems for your baby, like premature birth and stillbirth. Gestational diabetes usually goes away after you have your baby; but if you have it, you're more likely to develop diabetes later in life.
