Q.

Hi doctor, My girl baby is 4 months 28 days old. Her birth weight was 3.165kg and now she is only 5.6kg. She has gained only 400gms from May 25 to June 25. Like 100gms around 1-2 weeks. Is it enough? How can I increase my baby's weight?

A. A minimum gain of hundred grams per week or approximately 400 g every month is considered ideally good for the child if your child has double the birth weight or more than double the birth weight by completing the time of six months or before then your child is getting properly as per the age of the child so it should not be an issue in thatWrite Your Answer Here
