Q.

hi doctor, my daughter is now 3 months and 19 days old.. she was preterm.. with wt of 870 gms when she was born. now she is 3.200 kg.. my baby is having greenish colur in stools.. is there any pbms.. it haa been continuing since 3 wks.. is there any pbms. she is taking nan as supplement

A. well if the baby is formula fed the stool will be green. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide you

A. thank you for your response.. there is foul smell but not mucoid.. its normal poop with green and yellowish colour..

A. hi usually it is normal but if your child passes green stool with mucus and foul smell then you should consult your pediatrician. otherwise no need to worry. mother's milk is best food for a child so please stick to breastfeeding.
