Q.

Hi Doctor, my daughter is now 1yr 8months, and she doesn't speak anything, she used to say dada and mamma before, now it's like she's willingly not speaking, but she's active and responds to the songs and rhymes shown in TV, is it normal for her age or should we need to take care of something that will help her to speak, also due to this pandemic we have able to take her out, pls respond

A. if the baby is one half years old you can just wait for some more time for your baby to speak sentences if otherwise phones are proper nothing to worry e for the baby

Hi Please check for a little bit of more symptoms or signs keep the child like is your child responding to the name properly following small instructions making a proper eye contact if all these things are in place then you need not worry about it but even if one thing is missing then there is definitely a question of concern in that case you should consult a child specialist
