Q.

Hi Doctor, My daughter has cold and cough for the past 3 days. Just sometime back she complained about ear pain while coughing. Should I take her to a pediatrician or will the ear pain go by itself?

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine givfuoen. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the sgymptoms.
