Q.

Hi Doctor My daughter has black spots on her sclera (white region of eye) on her both eyes.. is that a problem? can you advice

A. can't say . for this concern here now shall advise you to see a near by doctor for best assessment of the concern so that it s to know and hence the advise can be followed about the problem .

A. Nevi is caused due pigmentation cells or over-growth of melanocytes. Most of the people who have nevi have it since their birth or it surfaces in their early childhood itself. Usually, the spot might not be noticeable until puberty because at this age it becomes bigger and darker too.
