Hi doctor my daughter (1 year 9 month)was having fever on Saturday early morning and Saturday evening I consulted a doctor a she gives antibiotics saying a starting of chest congestion is there.I started antibiotic on Saturday night and today is Tuesday afternoon .so I gave 6 times and still no much progress in fever .having fever in the night and early morning all other time she is very active also.Do I need to consult any other doctor before antibiotic course is completely done

A. thank you doctor so fever can last till 5 days right? I am little worried since it has been the 4 th day

A. wait hu vfever can be because of different reasons most of the times viral bacterial sometimes due to less immunity there can be recurrence better to treat only with paracetamol if the fever more than 100degr
