Q.
hi doctor my baby weight as of now is 5kg she is nearly 4 months,she is not looking chubby.what I can do to gain weight.please suggest.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist1 Year agoA. dear mum the weight of your baby is fine do not go by the looks baby should gain at least 500 g per month and should be double the birth weight by 5 months exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete

It looks an average weight gain you have to check how much as your child gained in four months it should be minimum of 2 kg on top of birth weight so if your child has gained that then this is a healthy weight gain otherwise it would be as per the age of your child as per the birth weight of your child
