Q.

hi doctor my baby weight as of now is 5kg she is nearly 4 months,she is not looking chubby.what I can do to gain weight.please suggest.

A. dear mum the weight of your baby is fine do not go by the looks baby should gain at least 500 g per month and should be double the birth weight by 5 months exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete

A. It looks an average weight gain you have to check how much as your child gained in four months it should be minimum of 2 kg on top of birth weight so if your child has gained that then this is a healthy weight gain otherwise it would be as per the age of your child as per the birth weight of your child
