A. Dear mum, weight of 5 kg is absolutely normal for 3 months old baby. Do not go by the appearance of your baby. There is no need to give any syrup. For healthy weight gain, exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
