Q.

Hi Doctor My baby us 3 months 10 days old. He is not trying to rollover and is not interested in tummy time, most of the time keeps his fists closed, and doesn’t show interest in holding objects. How to help baby to overcome these. Is there anything to be worried?

A. the child learns sometimes rolling over can come after 4-5 months so no need to worry for that and it is not necessary that it should come early. many times the weight of the child is more and that also delays the rolling. if if the growth and weight of the child is within normal limits then no need to worry about it. just carry out regular massage and proper diet and the child will be fine in next few months

A. Babies are born with a grasping reflex, but it takes time for their coordination and muscle control to develop enough that they can grab items voluntarily. Your baby will likely bat at dangling objects and be able to hold and shake a toy around 3 to 4 months old.
