Q.
Hi Doctor, My baby s 48 days old and I'm not able to feed him properly as I don't have much supply of milk ....so doctor gave him formula milk .As he started formula milk even if I try to breastfeed him he is not drinking . I tried almost all d home remedies as well as I have taken a strip of lactate tablets for a week....I almost got my breastfeeding properly then again it's stopped all of a sudden .

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl4 years agoA. Hi dear good afternoon try this try you can take help and try to feed your baby. While they hold the baby you can feed the baby and help baby to latch. It would take a few weeks to get trained. Have patience and feed baby. Make sure you sit comfortably and feed baby. Support yourself with cushions an d pillows and you can feed. Also teach your baby to latch slowly.. For breast milk Have spinach, jeera water, fennel, fenugreek, mothers horlicks is good for lactation, garlic pods You can have bread with milk, rice with milk, dry fish, mutton, carrot, oats, almonds, have plenty of water, the more you allow your baby to suck the more milk you can provide, you can also have lactare tablets which is very effective.
