Q.
Hi doctor my baby is suffering from fever from past two days. We took to the clinic and doctor gave the syrup and said whenever the baby body is heat give the syrup every 4-5 hours. and we are following the same and when I give the syrup the body temperature reduces and after 4 hours the temperature increase now its increased to 102 degree.

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. Sponge bath the baby and repeat the dose after every five hours and give more liquids to the child as it can be viral fever which takes around 3 to 5 days and give fruits and light and easily digestible foods

please inform your treating doctor regarding this as the temperature is 102.
please keep your child well hydrated
dress your child in loose fitting Cotton clothes
keep your child in well vantileted room
maintain good hygiene
