Hi Doctor, my baby is one month 2 weeks old. i have been observing that baby is doing lot of stretching and grunting throught the day even while having breast milk. Also, he cries and is having lot of discomfort while passing urine and stools.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Colic in babies is a very common issue and it's matter of concern for parents as the baby is extremely irritable and inconsolable by most of the means.
Exclusive breastfeeding with a proper bupring and keeping the baby in an upright position will be helpful.
Antiflatulence medicine like semithicone , probiotics and enfezyme preparations may be helpful.
Maternal lifestyle and dietary habbits are also contributory and important.
