Hi doctor, my baby is 4 months old. can i start nestum rice at this age? My baby take breast feed as well as formula milk (ISOMIL) too. He had some colic issues previously. please suggest.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. don't give or start nestum rice or any complementary food before 6 month. Its better to wait till 6 months by that time baby's bowel will be mature enough to accept semi solid foods. continue only ebf.

not at all.
only after 6 months age, you can start giving such food items.
but till that ,you must provide breasfeeding only.
so please don't give it.
