Guardian of a 3 yr 4 m old girl2 years ago
Q.

Hi Doctor, My baby is 4 1/2 months old. She has cold, cough, runny nose and sore throat from 1 week. I visited a nearby clinic 4 days ago and gave the medicines prescribed. (attached a snipshot of the medication) however she still has cold, cough, runny nose and sore throat. Meanwhile, she is not passing urine as she used to after taking the medicines. Her diapers are dry throughput the night (even for 12hrs) and even in the morning diaper is dry for more than 7hrs. My mother says it is normal because she vomits but I'm worried and need your advice

A. Definitely you need to consult your doctor again because baby should urine it after every three or four hours make sure you are breastfeeding your child properly and liquid intake should be more if baby is above six months other than that you can give indirect water steam to your child it will give relief from cold and cough but definitely if the baby is not passing urine for more than 12 hours for more than 18 hours then you need to consult your doctor again
