Hi doctor, My baby is 26days old , and is not sleeping properly at night. Even if he is getting sleep , he is giving up on that and waking up within minutes. He is not even sleeping for an hour at night and day time at most 3 to 4 days . Is this an problem? Please suggest

A. Sleep Cycle in smaller babies is very different and they have a certain pattern initially which becomes regularize at around 6 to 8 months of age and if the baby is comfortable with no irritability because of infantile colic nasal blockage any regbcurgitation etc you should not worry just give a comfortable position to the baby and no medicine is required.
