HomeQuestions & AnswersHi doctor, my baby is 2.7 years old.. I can see is is now getting stubborn , how can I take care of this behaviour? for an example is likes to play his cars , toys in water or playing with pressure cooker and if I refuse him to do that then he starts crying ...after sometime he gets normal when I tell him not to do this it's not good but when he wakes up from sleeping he starts crying for the thing for which I scold him or for which I refused him earlier, this happen when he sleeps at day and even in night (at night he wakes up at 2-3 am and start crying for the pressure cooker or for which we scold him in a day )...how should I deal with his behaviour? how can I reduce this? what can be possible reason for this behavior? A. Don't worry in this age it happens but gradually it will improve and don't focus much on it as the more you try to scold him the more he will do so just relax and appreciate him when behaving well

A. It's a just a phase. If u shout or punish them they will become more stubborn...
Don't give them what they are throwing tantrums for... At the same time do not punish them...
U need to divert them calmly and in more cheering way... So that they forget what they were asking for so handle with care.
