Hi Doctor, my baby is 11 months old and he has constipation issue from birth. He does not poop every day even after eating food he does the poop after 2-3 days and that is very hard and painful for my baby please suggest what should i do??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. The problem of constipation will decrease with proper diet modification that is plenty of water and fibre diet and try to give more papaya oats and fennel seeds water to the child.d
You may have to give a course of constipation medicine to the child to stabilize the child from the pain.
Constipation usually decreases with increasing age of the child adnd medicines give only symptomatic relief.
