hi doctor my baby is 11 month old from past 5 days he is passing 5 to 6 times stools it's normal hard stools ..is there any problem in that..how many stools are normal in this age?

Author of questionMom of 2 children2 years agoA. sir it's not a constipation he is going to poop normally hard poop but 5 to 6 times a day..am worried about that ..is this normal

Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drops ahind some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year ofv age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .
