Hi Doctor My baby has had a fever for the last 5 days. She is 11 months old. Not getting cure, giving her paracetamol syrup (sos).

In this here it is very difficult to comment properly until a proper examination or assessment is done to find out the exact cause so it is advisable to consult your doctor so that he could examuiine and evaluate properly and will guide you accordingly for this .

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. Bacterial Infections Symptoms persist longer than the expected 10-14 days a virus tends to last. Fever is higher than one might typically expect from a virus. Fever gets worse a few days into the illness rather than improving.
