hi doctor my baby has CRP 11.7mg/L normal range mentioned in the report (upto 6mg/L).. What actually CRP means?? is it dangerous or can be treated with medicines??

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. c reactive protein. means infections. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide youyou have to do a few more tests and a scan after a local doctor advice for proper treatment

mam,Crp level just indicates underlined any infection .
so if it is high ,one should treat the infection so the crp become Normal.
but you have to consult your pediatrician for this as he or she knows the case well.
