Q.

Hi doctor, My baby has completed 5 months, but unfortunately I need to resume my work next month. Can you please suggest formula milk or any other solids to start for the baby along with breastfeeding. Since I need to go to work, can't make my baby depend completely on breast milk. I need some suggestions

A. It's great to see that you're looking for ways to balance work and taking care of your little one. At 6 months old, you can start introducing solid foods such as pureed fruits and vegetables. In terms of formula milk, there are many great options available that can provide the nutrition your baby needs. However, it's important to remember that breast milk is still the best source of nutrition for your baby. If possible, you can consider pumping and storing breast milk for your baby to have while you're at work. I'm happy to provide more guidance and advice on this matter. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

A. Similac advance stage one you can go ahead with also I would recommend you that food can only be started after completing the age of six months of prior to that you cannot give any kind of complimentary food but feeding since you’re looking for this is going to be a good option for you to start with

A. Try Dexolac with FOS formula milk. It has fiber which makes it easily digestible and it improves baby's gut health also . Good gut health is necessary for immunity.
