A. they are lymph nodes and are part of normal human body. you have to take any intervention and meet your doctor only if they are causing pain as well as they are increasing in size. many times during infection theyg will increase in size and they will again decrease in size when the infection gets controlled.

A. A small, movable lump below your baby's right jaw could be a swollen lymph node. Lymph nodes are part of the immune system and can become enlarged when the body is fighting an infection or due to other benign causes. Here are some common reasons for such a lump: 1. **Swollen Lymph Node**: This is the most likely cause. Lymph nodes can swell due to infections (such as a cold, sore throat, or ear infection) even if there's no pain. 2. **Benign Cyst**: Sometimes, a movable lump can be a benign cyst, like a sebaceous cyst or a small lipoma (a fatty lump). 3. **Salivary Gland Issues**: Occasionally, issues with the salivary glands, such as a blocked duct, can cause a lump. 4. **Other Benign Conditions**: Other non-cancerous conditions, like branchial cleft cysts, can also cause lumps in this area. Most of the time, these lumps are harmless and may resolve on their own. However, it's always best to consult a pediatrician to ensure there is no underlying issue that needs attention, especially if the lump changes in size, becomes painful, or is accompanied by other symptoms like fever or general illness.
