A. Green stool in a 9-month-old baby who is on formula and solid foods is usually normal, especially if she is active, feeding well, and has no other symptoms like fever or discomfort. The green color can come from certain foods, iron in formula, or faster movement of stool through the intestines. As long as she is growing well and not showing signs of illness, there’s usually no cause for concern. However, if the stool becomes very watery, foul-smelling, or if she develops other symptoms, it’s good to consult a pediatrician.
