Hi doctor. My baby completed his 3 month. He is refusing to take breast milk since 3 days and being very fussy and cranky. He is passing motions normally. But refusing to take milk. He is getting cranky whenever I try to feed him, feeds only when he is in sleep. He is also crying in night since yesterday. Please suggest what should I do to breastfeed him.

A. you should know why babies cry at night it's majorly due to colic or gas problem no how to relieve that gas is a common issue and affects all new born babies. avoid bottle feeding . Burp baby well for 15 mins after each feed. Can do cycling motion of legs. Can make baby lie on tummy to relieve gas. Give gastica drops 1 ml for ease. Colic pain is worse at night and needs drops meftal spas 1 ml . Give mother feeds only
