Q.
hi doctor, my baby boy got fever after two days of dpt vaccination(Wednesday).first two days he had lite fever that's why I am not given paracetmol.now he got 101fever.swelling and pain is there in vaccination area. my dout fever caused by vaccine or other reason

Hello , your baby boy has received a dpt vaccinations on Wednesday and last two days he has a fever but today the temperature is 101 degrees so give him 2 ml syrup paracetamol three times a day and apply ice cube at injection site for three days

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. there is a possibility of local cellulitis which might be causing such type of problem to the child so it is advisable to meet the doctor at the earliest because there is a possibility that antibiotics may be needed
