hi doctor my 26 days baby having discharge in eye. any reason for this

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. it is common newborn babies to have discharge in the eye because of blocked nasolacrimal duct Further it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate advice in this regard if there is need for investigations also

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom. Discharge from eyes is due to the blocked tear duct which will open on its own as the baby grows up. So no need to worry. Just clean the eyes with cotton dipped and squeezed in lukewarm water. Take care
