Q.

Hi Doctor, I might deliver in 8th month. Because of my spotting problem it can lead to preterm delivery as said by my doctor. Is it dangerous to deliver in 8th month?? Or is it relatively safer than 7th month? Please help. Many are saying 7 or 9th month is fine for delivery but not 8th month. Please help I am very scared ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

A. Once the baby complete 28 weeks of gestational age the baby has more chances of survival and there is nothing that if the baby is born in eight months will have some problem and 7th or 9th months wonโ€™t have any problem. If the baby is born in less than 36 weeks then there might be a chance of some difficulty so doctors usually try to prolong the pregnancy as much as possible
