Q.

hi doctor I'm mother of 25 months old daughter last month I ws affected with covid. For treatment I took antibiotics n other tables I hv recoverd too..but my periods which r regular got delayed almost for 20 days. plz let me know cuz of covid do v hav any hormonal changes ? or z the reason I took antibiotics periods got delayed ? plz help

A. The stress which adds on during the infection might delay your cycles but always do a pregnancy test and rule out an accidental pregnancy before consulting the doctorWrite Your Answer Here

It Possibly could be due to heavy dosage of medicines and antibiotics you had so just wait for one more month if you see that your period has been delayed the next time also then you get it checked because maybe that could be due to hormonal imbalance in the body due to too many medicines that you do
