hi doctor I'm breastfeeding mother and have thyroid can I take covid vaccine? please let me know

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children5 years agoA. no problem you can take the vaccine even having thyroid also At present there is no problem a lactaing mother can take the covid-19 vaccine and continue to breast feed the baby as the government has also given permission for breastfeeding mothers take the vaccine no problem take the vaccine

Yes It shouldn’t be an issue that if you want to go ahead with the vaccination but just to be on the safer side you can discuss it with your Doctor Who ever is treating you for your thyroid and then only go ahead with the vaccination but 99% it should not be an issue
