Q.
hi doctor....I have twin boys 10 months old...they are not sitting properly without support....I mean they can only sit for few mins n then fall down....with support also they can only sit for few mins....even they have not started to crawl or walk....plz let me know if this is a matter of concern.....what must be the reason behind this

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. sitting without support and crawling in children may sometimes come after one year of age also.
if the growth of the child is proper no need to worry. just take care of regular diet and xbaby massage which will help in strengthening the muscles needed for sitting and crawling.
in some cases crawling may be absent in children and directly the child will begin to stand with support and later walk xwith support and then without support.
take a medical check up done to confirm if there is need of any intervention.
