Q.

Hi Doctor, I have 1.6 yrs baby boy.He drink milk from my one side breast that is right side only from the starting.The problem is the left side nipple is small so he was not intrested so he was unable drink my left side.After a week milk was not there on left side like right side.So he is drinking from my right side only still. even now he is in breastfeed only.he is not interested to eat rice and fruits.not even drinking bottle milk. but milk is ther like few drops on my left side.so I have doubt will it create any problem for my health in future.but it is but hard compare to my right side breast.please advice me

A. Don’t worry manually express milk from your left breast and if there is no tenderness then nothing to worry and limit milk intake of the baby to 600 ml per day and give solid foods to the baby

A. Hi Mom, In this case, I would suggest you to consult with your gynaecologist for proper advise and guidance. If your baby is not showing interest in eating other foods, it is best to reduce the breast milk session and concentrate on more variety of foods. Thank you.
