Hi Doctor. I am chandan. I have one month baby girl. She eats properly but didn't do putty last 5 days. Could you please suggest me what I need to follow or do I need to consult any doctor. Thanks, Chandan

A. typically breastfed babies will not poop as often because their bodies absorb most of the breast milk. going even a week without having a bowl movement is ok. continue with ebf, practice tummy time.

A. Breastfed babies, especially if they have not started solid foods, can easily go two weeks without a poopy diaper once they are 2-3 months old. Breastmilk is exactly what your baby needs, and so there is little waste product left for the baby to poop out. Exclusively breastfed babies are almost never constipated.
