Hi doctor Good evening i have daughter who is 5 yrs 2 months old we missed pneumococcal vaccines during her childhood due to lack of awareness bit recently we had given Pneumococcal single dose along with MMR 2 my question is does this provides protection coz we missed this pneumococcal during her childhood

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. yes it will have protection please take the vaccine now. the very purpose of giving vaccine to the baby is to have proper immunity please take all optional and essential vaccine to the baby if you have already missed any one of them
