Hi doctor breast feeding by lying down by sleeping can cause ear infection for baby?? pls help me on this for my baby after bath when I clean ears right ear I can observe some yellowish thing to my towel is this because of feeding laying down?? pls explain to me.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. You might hear that breastfeeding your baby in a lying down position will cause ear infections. Research indicates that this is not true. No matter what positioning you use, breastfeeding actually works to decrease the incidence of ear infections.Take paediatrician advice once for same.
