You can give foods like ragi porridge, homemade cerelac, kheer, fruit purée. Fruits like apple, banana, mango, chickoo can be given. Then dal rice with vegetables, khichadi, curd. Later mashed paneer.
Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible.
Give 2 to 3 meals a day and up to half katori every time. Continue to breastfeed.
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. Foods like potato, pumpkin, sweet potato, dal, ghee, ragi, almonds, yogurt, eggs and milk help the baby to gain weight. Please take a pediatricians' suggestion before you start any of these foods. As always follow a 3 day test rule.
