Q.

Hi Doc. My son Madhav 20 months old was born in Australia and he had all his vaccination till date from there. We have recently move back to India and wanted to know if there is any vaccination pthat need to be taken for him. As per Australian vaccination report he has only 4 year vaccine pending. A. Vaccination needs to be given to child as now the present covid situation becyomes somewhat favourable. Mandatory vaccinations should be on the priority list followed by optional vaccine later on . Influenza vaccine can be given on priority above 6 months of age to protect against seasonal flu viruses to avoid unnecessary complications in children.
