Q.

Hi doc, my baby is 1 day old and my baby is getting hiccups sometime after the feed. How to stop the hiccups of the baby. Is it normal for new borns to have hiccups

A. do not worry about the hiccups in newborn babies are common and self limiting For further advice it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination if there is need for investigations also then only proper treatment can be given to you o . K .

A. Hi dear mom Hiccups is very much normal in babies. So no need to worry as the babies they suck excess air while feeding sucking and crying. This can cause hiccups. So no need to worry. Burp ur baby well after every feed.
