Q.
hi doc. i am a mother of 1.5 months old baby boy. since day 1 baby is not latching to my breasts. my gynaec told bcz i have very short nipples..tried injection technique too to increase size. but baby does not latch and cries loudly when i force him to latch. as a result my milk supply has vanished completely and even after taking supplements it is not restoring as baby is not latching. Is there no hope fir breastfeeding in my case. please advise

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello try using nipple shield from Babyhug which s effective or express your milk and feed the same using a bpa free bottle which can also help baby to accept and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you
