Q.

Hi Doc - gd morning. Our doc from hometown have suggested 2.5ml dose of lifocal 2 times a day. generally when I measure this in drops it comes to 10 to 12 drops. the other multivitamin I am giving is only 4 drops at a time and 2 times a day. is it safe in such quantity? my boy is 2 months old.

A. Maam actually I think your child should have .5 ML maybe a doctor was confused which is why they mentioned 2.5 ML it’s not advisable because in this age for first six months generally I’m telling you most of the medicines or supplements are given five drops twice in a day or after completing the time of six months it would be 10 drops so right now I think it would be better to crosscheck with your doctor 1st
