Yes it is safe to be done during breastfeeding there is no problem but the kind of fumes it has is not very good for your respiratory system during the time of lactation so if you can avoid you should and if there’s an emergency that you have to get it done then you should prefer wearing a mask through the process because the fume that it releases when the iron your hair is not good for you and it’s not going to be good for your child because you’re feeding the child
