Q.

Hi Can eating a spicy food cause throat pain? My daughter is having a throat pain after 30 mins of having a little spicy Rasam(south indian) Is this because of the spicy rasam or common cold symptom? Plz say some home remedies to cure her throat pain..i gave her honey but still she is having the pain..any other home remedies to cure this throat pain? Need an expert advise plz..im worried so much..

A. yes, more spicy food can cause throat irritation. give warm water, honey, or tukdi water. if pain is continue give Ibugesic syp in proper dose. give plenty of fluids
