Q.

Hi Am 7 months pregnant and in my scan it's noticed that the baby hv intracardiac echogenic foci in left ventricle of 2.5 mm it was there in 5th month also with 1.6 mm... my double marker test was normal and NT scan was normal... how much I should bother is there any chances of down syndrome in the baby or any heart defects can be seen... please guide

A. well depends after birth. you have to do a few more tests and a scan after a local doctor advice for proper treatmentIn such cases you can talk to a doctor and get some blood tests done to reach to a conclusion
