Q.

Hi All, We live in Mumbai and my babies are 11 months(boy) and 2.10 years(girl) old, Dr has asked us to give them Japanese Encephalitis and meningococcal vaccines. Though these are optional ones but I want to know whether we should give them these or not.

A. most of the times Japanese encephalitis vaccine and meningococcal vaccine are not advisable routinely to all the babies is the baby is staying in endemic area for the diseases only you have to take
