Q.

Hi All, My son ved is 9 months weight and his current weight is 8 kg when he was 4 months his weight was close to 6 kg and from past 5 month his weight has increased only by 2 kg. I am but worried with his weight growth, Could someone suggest me is this growth is normal or do I have to seek nutrition specialist.

A. weight is perfectly fine. Give khichdi, daliya, upma, curd rice all in mashed form. add veggies, give fruit purees. better to give more fruits, veggies ,instead of sweets as children don't have much likes and dislikes at this age. so they accept variety of flavors.

A. Hi At six months weight should be double to birth weight Give well balanced nutritious food including fat carbohydrates protein Give ultra D3 drops and calcium supplements Maintain hydration
