Hi all, My daughter is having this dark patch on her leg since very long time n is itchy now n then. Doc said its just insect bite but its increasing in area. Please let me know what it is n what should be done.

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is 26 months old and she is having a dark itchy patch on her leg since long time so it is mostly a fungal infection so apply ointment ketoconazole twice a day

Apply coconut oil or lacto calamine lotion on the skin... Apply it daily for few days... If it starts to improve then continue to apply it.. If not then u need to consult with the skin specialist for the same. Take care
