Q.

Hi All, My baby is 3 months 20 days old. She is having teary eyes with yellow discharge only in left eye. Doctor suggested to put eye drops for yellow discharge and massage for tear duct to open. Should we need to visit a eye doctor to see if my baby needs probing the eye for duct to open or to check on any infections for yellow discharge? or should we wait for some more time for duct to open, please suggest.

A. Your doctor is right you should continue the eye drops and also massage the eye as it helps in relieving the tear duct blockage so continue that take care and stay safe

A. good evening you don't need to visit an eye specialist it is good that you already show the pediatrician I would recommend you to continue the medicine prescribed and the massaging wait for the tear ducts to open
