Hi all i am facing fast let down bcz of that my baby is not drinking milk properly if he drinks also he ll cough, chokes he ll go away from the breast I tried everything to slow down my flow but nothing is working..my baby is 2 months 6 days old bcz of my milk flowing too fast he swallows more air and he s gassy..please give me some suggestions.

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is thehtre paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
