hey dr...my daughter is 4.5 yrs old...she has having diarhea since 1 week ...stool is watery...with no smell... earlier we gave her probiotics nd antidiarrheal medicine...then no improvement seen...then dr prescribed her antibiotics...but still she has diarrhoea after taking 2days of antibiotics...I m very tensed...pls suggest me dr

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antifrrbiotics treatment
